Tierra Encantada of Hiawatha provides high-quality childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and is conveniently located on Minnehaha Avenue near Roosevelt Field in south Minneapolis’ Hiawatha neighborhood. At Tierra, we care for the whole child, nurturing their cognitive development with our research-based curriculum while providing nourishing meals from around the world made from scratch daily. Our Spanish immersion environment allows children to learn Spanish naturally, the way they learn English at home, so they leave our program bilingual. From first words to fluency, we are proud to provide families with a community where they know their child is safe, loved, and able to flourish.

Meet Our Director!
As Center Director of Tierra Encantada Hiawatha, Janeth enjoys building relationships with the children, family, and staff at our center. Originally from California, Janeth found her passion for working with children while in Minnesota! She has been a part of the Tierra Encantada team since 2022, first leading our location in Rochester, MN, before moving to the Twin Cities and beginning her role at Hiawatha. With three little ones of her own, it’s no surprise that Janeth connects well with the children and parents of our community.
