At Tierra, we care for the whole child, nurturing their cognitive development with our research-based curriculum while providing nourishing meals from around the world made from scratch daily. Our Spanish immersion environment allows children to learn Spanish naturally, the way they learn English at home, so they leave our program bilingual. Meet Our Director, Luis
Luis Omar leads Tierra Encantada Minnetonka as Center Director. Originally from Puerto Rico, he has a background in elementary education and a passion for working with children. After moving to Minnesota in 2017, he joined Tierra Encantada as a Pre-K teacher before stepping into his leadership role.
Meet Our Assistant Director, Darlene
Darlene brings her passion for learning and leadership to Tierra Encantada Minnetonka as Assistant Director. Originally from Puerto Rico, she has a background in education and child development, with over seven years of experience as a Lead Teacher. Since joining Tierra Encantada nearly two years ago, she has loved supporting children’s growth in a nurturing, culturally rich environment.
