Experience the Best Daycare in Houston
Tierra Encantada of Garden Oaks provides high-quality childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and is conveniently located on West 34th Street, just off Highway 610 and N Shepherd Dr. At Tierra, we care for the whole child, nurturing their cognitive development with our research-based curriculum while providing nourishing meals from around the world made from scratch daily. Our Spanish immersion environment allows children to learn Spanish naturally, the way they learn English at home, so they leave our program bilingual. From first words to fluency, we are proud to provide families with a community where they know their child is safe, loved, and able to flourish.
Learn Why So Many Families Choose Us!
“Tierra Encantada is a truly special place where you feel like you can trust each and every person to truly care for your child. We have an infant who is in a small classroom and receives a ton of attention all day long! The food is excellent for our child, too! The best thing about Tierra Encantada is the people. The teachers are thoughtful and attentive, giving the little ones so much love; the staff is always extremely supportive and responsive. We feel like our baby is in an extension of our home.”
We’ve Thought of Everything, So You Don’t Have To
Choosing a daycare in Houston shouldn’t mean compromising on quality or care. At Tierra Encantada, we’ve carefully designed every element of our centers to create an environment where children can thrive and parents can feel confident.
First 1,000 Days
Forming secure attachments between infants and toddlers and their trusted, loving caregivers is the cornerstone of healthy brain development during a child’s critical first 1,000 days.

Amazing Meals Included in Tuition
“The food they serve is great – I’ve stopped during meal times, and it’s so much better than the menus we saw at other centers. She has developed a great palate for different foods because of the variety she gets at Tierra Encantada. She happily eats vegetables and fruit, avocados, beans, eggs, and quinoa! I can’t imagine sending her anywhere else.”
Meet Our Director!
Evelyn’s journey into early childhood education began with her 4-year-old daughter, who currently attends Tierra Encantada. As a parent, she understands how important it is to provide children with a strong educational foundation. Spanish immersion was especially meaningful to her family, and it inspired them to take this incredible step.
What started as a personal decision for her daughter’s education quickly grew into a deeper passion. She now serves as director with three years of experience in a preschool environment. Evelyn is the kind of person who truly cares about the kids, the families, and the little details that make a big difference every day. She’s created a place that feels welcoming, calm, and full of love from the moment you walk in.
