Like you, our founder was a mom looking for care and wanting the best she could find. Some centers she visited had great curriculum, but mediocre food. Some centers had Spanish immersion, but treated staff poorly. Not finding any centers that had it all – well-paid educators teaching inclusive curriculum in a Spanish immersion environment where children are served elevated meals – she decided to create it, and Tierra Encantada was born.
What began as a single location in Minnesota has grown into an expansive community with locations across the United States. Thousands of engaged families, hundreds of talented educators, and a passionate team make possible the dream of a safe, loving place for children to learn, grow, and graduate bilingual.

Find your preferred Tierra Encantada location and share your information with us! We’ll email you a link to our calendar, and you can choose a tour time that works best for you.
On your tour, your family will see a typical day in our classrooms, meet our team, and have a chance to ask any questions you may have. Once your tour is complete, our admissions team will offer you a space in our program, based on availability, and guide you through the registration process.
With your completed application and payment of required fees, your place in the program is reserved! As your first day approaches, the director of your center will be in touch to schedule a classroom visit so that you can meet your child’s teachers and get them settled into their new classroom.
